Kushagra Merchant is a member with Tapas India Foundation—a section 25 company that works with a select NGOs (and/or organizations with an explicit social mandate) to provide long-term institution building support. Additionally, he also practices as an independent/free-lance consultant. Before, he was with Monitor Group’s Inclusive Markets Division and contributed to development and adoption of market-oriented solutions in areas of housing and drinking water. He also spent over two years with Accenture’s management consulting division in Mumbai. He holds a B.E. from Mumbai University and a MBA from IIM Calcutta
