Two ventures from Odisha have been shortlisted for TATA Social Entrepreneurship Challenge, jointly organised by IIM Calcutta and TATA group to find the country’s most promising and early stage social enterprises.

The Smart Kisan project, one of the ventures, is an agri-tech social enterprise for promoting technology-enabled rural collectives to address the problems of small and marginal farmers in rural India.

The second project, Zoofresh Foods Pvt Ltd, was set up 3 years ago. It has a farm-to-fork integrated business model.
