The winners of the 11th Year Tata Social Enterprise Challenge 2022-23 (Tata SE Challenge), a joint initiative of the Tata group and Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC), were announced during the summit held on 27th August, 2023. Mudita and Radhesh Pvt. Ltd. (Golden Feathers ) (Winner), Thremear Pvt. Ltd. (1st Runner-up), and Ambiator Pvt. Ltd (2nd Runner-up position), emerged as the winning ventures, receiving prize money of Rs. 5 lakh, Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 2 lakh, respectively. This year a total of 8800+ applications flooded in,

A seed fund corpus has been established by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, to which the Tata group has made a contribution of Rs. 25 Lakhs, as part of the annual corpus. Out of the 20 semi-finalists of the Tata SE Challenge, eleven pitched their enterprise to the Tata Social Enterprise Challenge Seed Corpus Investment Committee and other impact investors. Jigyasa Rurban was chosen by the committee to receive this seed funding of Rs. 25 Lakhs.
Mudita and Radhesh Pvt. Ltd., which is dedicated to empowering tribal women by involving them in crafting handwoven clothing using an innovative fibre derived from chicken butchery waste products, secured the winning title in TSEC 2022-23. The startup was awarded a winning cash prize of Rs. 5 Lakhs.
Thremear Pvt. Ltd. is a research-based company focusing on early screening devices to detect hormone imbalance issues like PCOS, subfertility, pre-menopause, etc. It believes in Women’s Empowerment through women’s healthcare and wellness. Thremear Pvt. Ltd. has emerged as the RUNNER UP at the TSEC Grand Finale 2022-2023, winning a sum of Rs. 3 Lakhs in cash prize for its innovative efforts to develop affordable diagnostic products to create a revolutionary impact on women’s healthcare and wellness.
Ambiator Private Limited is a climate appropriate cooling technology firm that is solving for human thermal comfort. The first product that is launched is the Ambiator 5TR which is a modular, scalable cooling solution for Residential, Commercial, Institutional and Industrial use. Ambiator Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the 2nd Runner Up at the TSEC Grand Finale 2022-2023, winning a sum of Rs. 2 Lakhs in cash prize.
