TATA Social Enterprise Challenge, is a joint initiative by the TATA group and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), a National Level challenge to find India’s most promising social enterprises. Also aimed at raising awareness about Social Entrepreneurship, TATA Social Enterprise Challenge aims to encourage the youth to step up to be the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
Tata Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC) – a joint initiative of the Tata group and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) – held the second edition of the student seminar, ‘Thinking Social’, at IIT Guwahati. Attended by over 90 students, the day-long seminar sought to introduce these students to the concept of social entrepreneurship and inspire them to start their own ventures that solve some of the challenges faced by society.
